Linda Kaufenberg comes to Single Parent Scholarship Fund after working for United Way of Fort Smith Area for ten years. She has been involved with all aspects of the non-profit world, with emphasis on fundraising, marketing and graphic design.
In addition, she brings corporate experience having worked for Beverly Enterprises (Golden Living) for more than ten years. During the middle 70s to late 90s, Linda worked in the newspaper business as editor and publisher of small weeklies.

“Education has always been important to me. After my late husband and I had been married for eight years, he went back to college for his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Our daughter and son studied right along with him every night on the kitchen table. Consequently, both of them knew that college followed high school.”
